The Kimia Expedition Platform is an 18–20 foot modular system built around a 20–24 inch diameter hull, designed for stability and endurance in large river environments. Its structure supports extended operations across long distances, providing a durable and adaptable platform for deployment in the varied conditions of the Congo River.

Equipped with advanced sensing technologies, including sonar-based mapping and navigation systems, the Kimia platform enables accurate data collection in low-visibility and high-current conditions. Deployed alongside coordinated field operations, it supports efficient, large-scale mapping across extended segments of the river system.
